What We Do

Build something. Discover something in yourself.

CBEA creates project-based learning experiences that use technology and creativity to support youth confidence, connection and positive direction.

Four connected program areas

Designed around development—not credentials.

Our activities are educational, but the public benefit is youth wellbeing and development. They are not job training, adult professional development or a pathway to a commercial designation.

CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY

AI, coding and digital making

Young people explore how digital tools work by using them to create. Activities can include simple web experiences, games, visual concepts, interactive stories and responsible AI-assisted projects.

STORY & EXPRESSION

Design, media and storytelling

Creative expression gives young people a constructive way to communicate identity, emotion and ideas. Projects emphasize authorship, reflection and the courage to share a point of view.

CONFIDENCE THROUGH ACTION

Small wins that become momentum

Participants practise setting a goal, breaking it into steps, tolerating frustration, asking for help and finishing. Progress becomes visible—and self-belief becomes earned.

How young people participate

Flexible formats. One clear purpose.

CBEA can deliver youth-development activities through workshops, guided projects, community collaborations and supportive learning experiences. Specific schedules and availability are confirmed directly with families and partners.

01

Explore

Start from a young person’s interests, questions and preferred way of expressing ideas.

02

Create

Turn curiosity into a concrete project through age-appropriate guidance and experimentation.

03

Reflect & connect

Recognize progress, share safely, learn from setbacks and identify the next constructive step.

Who we serve

Young people ages 12–18.

CBEA’s youth mission is designed for adolescents who can benefit from positive creative outlets, skill-building, connection and encouragement—including young people experiencing isolation, low confidence, unhealthy online habits or difficulty seeing a meaningful path forward.

Participation in a CBEA activity is not a substitute for clinical assessment or treatment. Families and partner organizations should disclose support needs relevant to safe participation and continue working with qualified professionals where appropriate.
