The CAA™ is CBEA's flagship credential, a twelve-week, eight-module program designed for the working Canadians who will help every other Canadian use AI well. You graduate with a credential, a capstone, a working stack, and a peer network of people who will still answer your messages five years from now.
The AI advisor is the next default Canadian role.
Most Canadian businesses know they need to use AI. Very few of them know who, internally, owns that question. The Certified AI Advisor is the answer, a named, credentialed practitioner who can sit between leadership and the technology, scope a real engagement, ship a workflow, write a privacy review, and present an executive-grade roadmap. The CAA™ program is built to produce that practitioner in twelve weeks.
We assume you are already working, as a manager, founder, consultant, broker, clinician, marketer, operator, or career changer. The program is taught in the evenings, recorded for replay, and structured so that the work you do inside it doubles as portfolio you can show your next employer or client.
Six audiences, one credential.
We built the CAA™ for six specific kinds of Canadian working professional. If you see yourself in any of these descriptions, the program is for you.
Leaders of teams
Mid-level leaders who need to confidently introduce AI workflows to their teams without breaking what is already working.
Operators of companies
Early-stage and small business owners who need leverage and don't yet have a CTO. Your AI advisor, for now, is going to be you.
Practitioners for hire
Independent consultants who want a credential that signals genuine, current expertise, not a weekend certificate.
Real estate · Healthcare · Insurance
Professionals in industries where privacy, accuracy and compliance are non-negotiable, and where AI has to be deployed carefully.
The next chapter
Mid-career professionals who want to make AI advisory their next ten years, and need both the skills and the credential to do it.
Serious learners
Late-stage undergraduates and graduate students who want their first real credential to be something employers actually recognize.
What you will be able to do.
- Scope
- Lead a discovery conversation with a Canadian SMB or department head and translate it into a costed AI engagement plan.

- Govern
- Produce a privacy and risk review for an AI deployment under PIPEDA and the proposed Artificial Intelligence and Data Act.
- Present
- Deliver an executive-grade AI roadmap to a real client and answer the hard questions about cost, risk, and outcome.
- Earn
- Hold the CAA™ credential and appear in the public CBEA Registry of Certified AI Advisors.
A capstone you can put in a portfolio.
Every CAA™ candidate is paired with a real Canadian small or mid-sized business for the final four weeks of the program. The capstone is a scoped advisory engagement: discovery, current-state audit, recommended workflows, and a final roadmap presentation. You leave with a deliverable you can show in any interview.
